Mexico provides entertainment for the entire family! For a full list of upcoming events in the area, see our monthly calendar.

Farmers’ Market
The season runs from May through October. The Market, held in Hardin Park, is open Saturdays from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. During abundant harvest, it is also open Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:00 PM.

Festival of the Arts at Missouri Military Academy
The Festival, traditionally held Mother’s Day weekend, features the MMA Band and Cadet Chorus, the Dramateers, and the Epple Art Show.

Summer Concerts
Tuesday evenings at Hardin Park June through August. This year’s series features a variety of genres.

Prairie Pine Quilt Guild Quilt Show
June - Luncheons are held during the event.

Miss Missouri Scholarship Pageant
First full week in June at Missouri Military Academy. For tickets, call 800-581-2765 or visit the Miss Missouri website at http://www.missmissouri.org .

Audrain County 4-H & Youth Fair
July, 4-H Fairgrounds.

Audrain AgriFest
August, 4-H Fairgrounds. Rodeo, go kart races, carnival, entertainment, vendors, and food.

Sunset Festivals
Thursday nights in September from 5:00-8:00 PM in downtown Mexico. Features live entertainment, kids’ games, food booths, crafts, and shopping on the Village Square.

Country Fair/Walk Back in Time
Last full weekend in September, Audrain County Historical Society grounds. Authentically recreated historical encampment. For more information, visit http://www.audrain.org

Halloween Happening at Scattering Fork
October. Haunted woods and a corn maze.

Santa’s Holiday Express Train
Mid-December. Visit with Santa, tour his workshop, and snack on cookies and hot chocolate. This is Kansas City Southern’s only mid-Missouri holiday stop.
